We are now in VA. Saw the Flight 93 memorial at Shanksville PA  and also Gettysburg Battle site. Both sobering  and sad. Then a harrowing trip through and around the beltway in Wash.DC. Called an old friend, George Reel, in Portsmouth and learned that he is almost bed ridden after back surgey. Will have to forego the chance to see him at this time but promised to start using g-mail more. Almost 50 years has passed since we last saw each other. Hope to see cousin Mike and wife Sonia on the way home......
